Mindfulness Practitioner Training Programme 2016/17
Living Mindfully CIC provides a one-year, mindfulness practitioner training programme for those wishing to train to develop skills in delivering the 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction programme (MBSR). The training programme is designed to meet some of the key requirements for teaching mindfulness-based approaches as identified within the UK ‘Good Practice Guidelines for Teaching Mindfulness-Based Courses’.
Training with Living Mindfully
Teaching MBSR requires an in-depth understanding of the experience of engaging in mindfulness meditation. It is essential that participants have an established mindfulness practice of no less than six months and have completed an 8-week MBSR/MBCT programme. The mindfulness practitioner-training programme consists of five, two-day modules, over a twelve-month period. All participants will be expected to attend all sessions, and engage in reflective journaling throughout the programme. They will receive support from Living Mindfully including periodical telephone reviews, access to monthly practice groups, and silent retreat days.
