The LME Training Experience
The LME Training Experience
Living Mindfully in Education is committed to the long-term vision of the sustainable delivery of mindfulness in schools, colleges, and universities.
As a training centre we offer a comprehensive training pathway for those wishing to teach mindfulness to young people, and embed mindfulness into the ethos of their learning environment.
The Teacher Training Programme gives staff members the opportunity to firstly develop a personal mindfulness practice, before embarking on training to teach the LME programme. The entire training pathway takes approximately one year to complete.
The structure of the training is as follows:
- Completion of an 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction programme
- A minimum of 6 months personal practice.
- Completion of The Living Mindfully in Education 4 day teacher training.
Monthly practice groups, silent practice days, and participation in the LME online forum support the training pathway.
In the interim, Living Mindfully may be able to offer an LME programme so that key members of staff can experience the classes in their educational setting.
